This folder contains the FileMaker documents and HTML required for setting up a simple web-accessible slide database. The first thing you should probably do after skimming this "Read Me" is read the "library_start.html" file, either by opening it in a web browser or by clicking on one of the "START HERE" files. Files: "library_start.html" This is the HTML file that will tell you how to configure FileMaker. You can drag it onto any browser to view it. "START HERE - Explorer.html" This is a copy of "library_start.html" saved so that when it is double-clicked, it will open in Internet Explorer. "START HERE - Netscape.html" This is a copy of "library_start.html" saved so that when it is double-clicked, it will open in Netscape. Folders: "Slide_library_sample" This folder contains the HTML for serving a FileMaker slide library on the web. You can edit it to change the web interface's appearance. "Database for FileMaker 4 (Mac)" A FileMaker 4 version of the slide databse is in this folder. If you are using FileMaker 4.x, you will be directed to take the database from this folder and drop it into the "Slide_library_sample" folder. "Database for FileMaker 5 (Mac)" Same as above, only for FileMaker 5 or later. "tutorial_images" GIF images that are referenced by "library_start.html." You will not need to do anything with this folder.
